Before our first class there are few things you should do.  Here is a checklist to prepare you for this and other ESC courses:

1. Sign up for Academic Skills workshops

2. Sign up for Library Skills workshops

3. Make a study plan

4. Access your learning contracts

5. Bookmark important websites

6. Take a self-assessment inventory

7. Make a list of questions for: your instructor(s), your mentor, seasoned ESC students

8. Create a study space and/or portable study tools

9. Get started on your first assignment(s) 

10. If you need help with any/all of these tasks, make an appointment with an ESC learning coach
